We are seeking Forklift Operators. The primary function of this position is to provide support to the supply chain through collecting, loading, shipping and receiving warehouse products. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating technical equipment, optimizing loading for efficient logistics and supporting other warehouse functions to ensure optimal operation of the business. Flexibility with scheduled work days and shift preference is required but generally the hours are 10am – 6:30pm, with occasional weekends.
Some of the job requirements include:
Operate forklift, (stand and sit)
Adhere to quality and customer service standards set forth by the company
Perform cycle counts as required
Pick, wrap and stage orders to be shipped
Inspect and perform maintenance of forklifts and other material handling equipment
Identify safety hazards in the workplace, strong
Be able to work in a manufacturing environment (standing, lifting, bending, stooping, etc.).
Able to regularly lift 50 pounds, unassisted
Be able to work with peanuts, tree nuts, soy, and dairy
Some of the requirements and skills include:
Punctual and have excellent attendance
High school diploma/GED required
2+ years’ experience operating powered forklifts
Proficient in mathematics
Strong understanding of OSHA regulations
Possess a high regard for safety in the workplace
