This is a dual role. Candidate will need to write a short, journalistic piece in English about the organization every few weeks, but will also be answering and making calls on behalf of the organization. Must be comfortable speaking on phone in Spanish and English. We are an international nonprofit that mobilizes overseas volunteer programs. Position requires answering phones to explain programs, occasional data entry, emailing for feedback; emailing out to staff in the field for updates, etc. Training provided. Requirements: experience in journalism studies very helpful, Spanish & English, good basic computer skills; experience with independent international travel, especially to developing countries, experience with international volunteering a strong plus. Knowledge or sincere interest in other cultures a tremendous plus! College degree preferred.Please email resume and a cover letter on why you are good fit for the position.
