Immediately hiring for a Dispatcher/ Driver Manager
Individual will be managing a fleet of 15 tractors and 25 trailers. Must be experienced in the trucking field. Must know HOS, Safety, DOT rules and Regulations.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for dispatching drivers,with managing drivers, ensuring timely deliveries, and optimizing transportation routes.
Duties:
- Dispatch ALL CDL A drivers. Make sure all loads are picked up and dropped off accordingly.
- Monitor driver performance and provide feedback for improvement
- Plan and optimize transportation routes to maximize efficiency
- Ensure compliance with all transportation regulations and company policies
- Utilize fleet management systems. GPS. and track and tracking.
- Communicate effectively with drivers, clients, and internal teams
- Physically check tractors and trailers when they come into the yard.
-Conduct all driver meetings with drivers and make sure they are following rules.
-Schedule service for all trucks and trailers
-Make sure all equipment is DOT compliant
Qualifications:
-Must be able to work on call 24/7 with a company phone
-Must be able to physically inspect tractors and trailers
-Must be able to keep up with drivers and loads.
- Proficiency in fleet management software. Computer skills a MUST.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
