We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Bookkeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will maintain accurate financial records, manage accounts payable/receivable, prepare financial reports, and ensure compliance with tax and regulatory requirements for both construction projects and property management.
Key Responsibilities:
Financial Record Keeping: Maintain financial records for construction projects and property management, reconcile bank statements, track all transactions, and categorize expenses.
Accounts Payable/Receivable: Process vendor invoices, manage tenant rent collection, issue invoices, and maintain payment records.
Reporting: Prepare monthly financial statements, job cost reports, cash flow statements, and year-end summaries for tax filings.
Compliance and Documentation: Ensure financial records are organized and compliant with company and industry standards, assist with annual tax filing.
Qualifications:
Proven bookkeeping or accounting experience, preferably in construction or property management
Proficient with accounting software (QuickBooks, Xero, or similar)
Knowledge of construction accounting principles and job costing
Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and communication abilities
Ability to maintain confidentiality and manage sensitive data
Job Type: Full-Time
Compensation: $23.00 - $28.00 per hour, based on experience
