About the Role
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Home Delivery Supervisor to oversee daily delivery operations. This role is critical in ensuring timely, accurate, and customer-focused home deliveries. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills, leadership ability, and experience in logistics or last-mile delivery environments.
Key Responsibilities
Inbound Management: Receive and inbound freight into the customer’s portal and internal systems.
Route Planning: Create efficient delivery routes for drivers to maximize productivity and customer satisfaction.
Customer Communication: Contact customers to confirm deliveries, resolve issues, and provide status updates.
Problem-Solving: Troubleshoot and resolve delivery or freight issues quickly and effectively.
Driver Support: Coordinate with drivers to ensure adherence to schedules, safe practices, and company policies.
KPI Monitoring: Track, analyze, and report key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure operational efficiency.
System Updates: Maintain accurate data and update systems regularly to reflect delivery and freight status.
Team Collaboration: Work closely with operations staff, customer service, and warehouse teams to ensure smooth delivery processes.
Continuous Improvement: Identify process gaps and implement solutions to improve delivery performance.
Qualifications
Minimum of 1 year experience using Office 365 (Outlook, Excel, Word, Teams, SharePoint, etc.) — required, no exceptions.
Previous experience in logistics, transportation, or delivery supervision preferred.
Strong organizational and time-management skills.
Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
Proficiency in using logistics software, routing systems, and KPI reporting tools.
Ability to lead, motivate, and support a team of drivers.
High attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
