Spears Community Homes Child & Family Services, LLC is seeking a dedicated Program Manager Assistant to support the daily operations of our HCS (Home and Community-based Services) group home. The ideal candidate will assist the Program Manager in ensuring compliance with state regulations, overseeing staff, and coordinating services for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD).
Key Responsibilities:
Assist the Program Manager with daily operations, scheduling, and staff supervision.
Ensure compliance with HCS program guidelines, state regulations, and company policies.
Support in developing and monitoring Individual Plan of Care (IPC) and Person-Directed Plans (PDP).
Maintain accurate documentation and reports related to client care and services.
Coordinate with case managers, direct care staff, LIDDA (Local IDD Authority), and families to ensure proper client support.
Assist in training and supervising direct care staff to ensure quality service delivery.
Monitor and address any client behavioral, medical, or care needs in collaboration with the care team.
Participate in meetings, audits, and inspections as required.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or GED required; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in a related field is a plus.
Experience in the HCS program, IDD services, or group home management is preferred.
Knowledge of state regulations for HCS services, Medicaid waiver programs, and IDD care.
Strong organizational and leadership skills.
Ability to communicate effectively with staff, clients, families, and regulatory agencies.
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel) and electronic documentation systems.
Ability to pass a background check, drug screening, and TB test.
Must have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
