A construction project manager is responsible for the successful execution of a construction project from start to finish:
-Planning: Developing plans and estimates, establishing timelines, and allocating resources
-Managing: Overseeing the project's schedule, cost, quality, safety, scope, and function
-Communicating: Working with clients, architects, engineers, contractors, and subcontractors to define project objectives and communicate goals
-Quality control: Ensuring projects meet contractual and legal requirements
-Budgeting: Staying within budget and ensuring the project is completed on time
-Permitting: Retrieving the necessary permits to construct in certain communities
-Reporting: Delivering project progress reports and writing and submitting testing and inspection logs, quality assurance reports, and punch list
