Position Overview:
The Operations Manager will oversee key areas of the business, including Order Processing, IT (with an upcoming software implementation), and HR. .This role requires a proactive leader who is great at managing a team, communicates effectively with customers, and ensures smooth day-to-day operations. Some travel may be required.
Key Responsibilities:
IT Management: Oversee the implementation of new software Market Time and ensure IT systems run smoothly across departments and the interface with vendors and customers is seamless.
HR Management: Handle hiring, onboarding, and overall team management to maintain a productive work environment. With efficiencies in the new software some retraining will be required.
Order Entry: Ensure efficient order processing, house production and fulfillment, and customer service to meet operational goals. This will be automated and other hands-on checks and balances will be required to manage the order fulfillment flow.
Team Leadership: Manage and mentor the team to ensure high performance, clear communication, and ongoing development. Currently about 8 full time employees.
Customer Relations: Communicate regularly with key customers to maintain strong relationships and address any issues promptly.
Process Improvement: Identify areas for operational efficiency improvements and work with the owner to implement strategic changes. Applicable to both the order fulfillment flow and team processes and dynamics.
Travel: Occasional travel may be required to meet customers, suppliers, or attend industry events.
