Low Voltage Licensed Electrician - Relocation Support

Live and work in Taos New Mexico. Relocation support included as well as cost of living stipend.

We are seeking a skilled structure cable and systems installation lead. This role will work with clients, sales, and our IT Services team to scope, plan, and install network cabling as well as end point systems (e.g., wireless access points, cameras, door access controls, etc.). This position will be the implementation project lead but may require support from employees in other departments to complete the job on time and on budget. They need to work well with clients, vendors, and internal stakeholders to be successful.

Key Responsibilities

- Support the sales process with insight into effort, costs, and equipment needed to deliver a project

- Plan the installation of a project, scheduling, organizing hardware, managing inventory, coordinating team members, and customer communications.

- Manage multiple projects that are at different stages of the sales-implementation process.

- Set appropriate expectations with the sales team, clients, and other internal stakeholders about project timing

- Organize hardware inventory to minimize cost while ensuring we have on hand needed materials

Required Qualifications

- Journeyman Low Voltage Electrician ES3 or ES7: 2 years

- Good team lead with strong client interaction skills.

- Must be able to work at heights, on a ladder and in confined spaces.

- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and move up to 75 pounds.

- Must be able to travel within the state and southern Colorado region as needed.

- Must possess at least a High School diploma or GED equivalency.

- Must have a valid NM driver's license.

- Must have at least 2 years’ experience in telecommunications or related technical field and demonstrate the ability to supervise others.

- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

- Pass a background check

Preferred Qualifications

Experience installing camera and door access systems.

Experience training other team members in how to correctly install cabling and end point systems.
