D & L Entertainment Services is now hiring an unarmed Security Officer to work at an office building in the Dallas North Tollway / Beltline Road area.
The unarmed Security Officer will ensure the safety of patron in the building and parking lot area. We currently have one position available.
Role #1: Saturday & Sunday from 8:00 pm to 8:00 am AND Thursday & Friday morning from 12:00 am (midnight) to 8:00 am. You would also work Wednesday from 12:00 am (midnight) to 8:00 am every other week.
You would work 40 hours one week and 48 hours the next week to end up with 88 hours each pay period. 8 hours of overtime each pay period.
For this position we will compensate officers at a rate of $15.00 per hour.
Responsibilities:
Assist patrons in the office building, on the building grounds and in the parking area in feeling safe and secure
Conduct an access control patrol once the office building has been secured after hours
May perform duties including handling routine and emergency calls, disseminating information to the appropriate parties, coordinating activities with other agencies and/or emergency services
Provide escort to and from vehicles upon request
Provide low-level security while patrolling
Keeps records and makes detailed reports
Performs other duties as assigned
Required Licenses and Certifications (must be able and willing to obtain): State of Texas - Level II Security Guard Card
Required Special Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Must be 18 years of age
Professional appearance and demeanor
Must have at least 1 year of licensed unarmed security experience
Must be legally eligible to work in the U.S.
Able to pass all criminal history background checks
Exceptional customer service skills
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills and ability to plan and organize effectively
Experience working with diverse individuals and communities
Ability to multi-task and work cooperatively with others
Must be able to lift up to 15 lbs.
