Position Overview:

We are looking for an enthusiastic and self-driven Commission Car Salesman to actively seek out and engage customer prospects. You will provide complete and appropriate solutions that result in sales revenue growth, customer satisfaction, and long-term customer loyalty.

Key Responsibilities:

Customer Engagement: Greet customers and ascertain what each customer wants or needs. Provide guidance and information to customers on vehicle features, specifications, and pricing.

Sales Process Management: Understand the sales process, including all aspects of vehicle presentation, test drive, negotiation, and closing deals.

Lead Generation: Prospect for new and potential customers through walk-ins, referral networks, online platforms, and other marketing initiatives.

Product Knowledge: Stay up to date on current inventory, promotions, and industry trends to effectively address customer needs.

Documentation: Prepare necessary paperwork/forms for each sold vehicle and obtain customer signatures to complete the sales process accurately.

Customer Service: Follow up with all sales leads in a timely and effective manner, aiming to build a long-term clientele by creating a positive experience for customers.

Understand and implement dealership sales process

Own every aspect of the sales process (from new client prospecting to vehicle delivery)

Present and demonstrate inventory

Review, update and manage daily inventory reports

Create and execute strategies for increasing market share

Prepare and review monthly plans with sales leadership

Maintain Customer Service Index, Gross Average and monthly units to dealership standards

Remain up to date on products, market trends and certification

Must be familiar with Client Relationship Management (CRM) software

Experience: Previous auto sales experience (particularly in the automotive industry) is a plus

- 1-2 Years Auto Sales experience - Automotive Dealership experience required

- Proven professional with a track record of success in car sales or sales roles

- Exhibit a professional phone demeanor and be comfortable with frequent phone interactions

- Valid Driver’s License & clean driving record required

Skills:

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

- Ability to achieve and exceed sales targets.

- Customer-centric attitude with the ability to build rapport.

- Proficiency in CRM software and MS Office Suite is advantageous.

Qualifications: High school diploma (or equivalent) is a plus, additional sales-related certifications or training considered an advantage.

Work Ethic: Self-motivated, with a track record of working independently and efficiently.

Compensation:

Commission-Based Pay: Competitive commission structure with performance bonuses. The potential for high earnings based on sales performance.
