We are looking for personable, smart, hard-working, mature, and successful sales reps with high integrity to visit prospective advertisers and sell them ads in our glossy magazine.
We sell display ads and Guide listings.
You won't be going to any national chains, you'll call and/or visit locally-owned restaurants or jewelers, salons, dentists, tailors, plumbers, sports medicine specialists, optical stores, lawyers, boutiques, etc to sell them $150 listings.
At that low price, it's a "Yes" or "No" we have AMAZING demographics so, if you are charming and can effectively communicate the value proposition without being pushy, chances are high that you'll hear "Yes" fairly often.
We publish six issues a year, try to sell everyone you meet six listings for $900.
You'll earn $50 for each $150 listing you sell. This is a volume business. If you sell six restaurants a series of three listings each, and five dentists a series of three listings, and ten doctors a series of two listings, and three nail and hair salons, you can see how this adds up.
If you're really ambitious and have the right touch, you can sell $1,000 display ads and we'll pay 25% commission. You'll get paid $250 every time that ad runs.
We'll provide you with sales materials and samplesyou bring talent, energy, and drive.
Please email, telling us a little about yourself, describe any sales experience you have, and tell us you're ready to start going door-to-door and/or calling 50 prospects a day. The harder you work this, the more you'll earn. We've had reps sell $10,000 a week and take home $2,500 in commissions.
This is a 1099, commission-only contract position.
