The

Sales Operations Consultant is responsible for partnering with Client Executive and client teams to drive new business growth, facilitate client engagement, and drive efficient and effective operations. The Sales Operations Consultant will work collaboratively with their assigned Client Executives to support all stages of the sales cycle and manage internal sales operational processes.

Training will be conducted virtually from your home.

Primary Responsibilities:
  • Growth and Commercial Support - Supports pipeline growth and goal achievement through partnership and development of strategic territory plans and opportunity management support.
  • Partner with Client Executive and growth leaders on overall strategy and plan execution to ensure strong pipeline build/management and goal achievement
  • Support Client Executive with white space management, opportunity management and surround support, Salesforce maintenance/governance, and client planning activities
  • Optimize outputs for and remove barriers to the sales process
  • Client Executive Operational Support - Partner for Client Executives to support the day-to-day business activities around client engagement and advocacy
  • Provide insight into client's current book of business via portfolio overviews, client one pagers or client 360 reporting and distill news and updates relevant to clients and markets.
  • Identify and collaborate on key client-facing activities related to growth objectives and relationship management and cultivation. Maintain internal documentation around relationship inventory.
  • Provide tactical support to Client Executives as needed (e.g. client materials, debrief calls, meeting notes, action plans, etc.)
  • Facilitate internal navigation of common client business process requests
  • Department Initiatives and Projects - supports wider CTO and department initiatives through collaboration with Client Executives and growth leaders.
  • Identify, implement, and ensure adoption of best practices
  • Function as market and Growth Office subject matter experts on enterprise initiatives and serve as stewards of associated resources, tools, and methodologies

Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree (or higher)
  • 2 + years of project management experience, sales, client management, client support or market research experience
  • Microsoft Office proficient - Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, and Microsoft Outlook including the ability to open, create, edit, save, and send documents, spreadsheets, and emails, other forms of documents
  • If you need to enter a work site for any reason, you will be

    required to screen for symptoms using the ProtectWell mobile app, Interactive Voice Response (i.e., entering your symptoms via phone system) or similar UnitedHealth Group-approved symptom screener. When in a UnitedHealth Group building, employees are required to wear a mask in common areas. In addition, employees must comply with any state and local masking orders

Telecommuting Requirements:
  • Required to have a dedicated work area established that is separated from other living areas and provides information privacy
  • Ability to keep all company sensitive documents secure (if applicable)
  • Must live in a location that can receive a UnitedHealth Group approved high-speed internet connection or leverage an existing high-speed internet service

Preferred Requirements:
  • Knowledge of Salesforce
  • Ability to travel at times, when appropriate based on business needs

Physical and Work Environment:
  • Frequent speaking, listening using a headset, sitting, use of hands / fingers across keyboard or mouse, handling other objects, and long periods working at a computer
  • Service center environment with moderate noise level due to Representatives talking, computers, printers, and floor activity

Colorado Residents Only: The salary range for Colorado residents is $64,800 to $116,000.
