Job Title: Video Engineer
Location: Downtown Dallas, TX
Pay: $65.00/hour
Responsibilities:
-A Video Engineer is responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining video and audio systems. They ensure the smooth operation of video equipment for various applications, including live events, broadcasting, and streaming.
-Set Up and Installation: Install and configure video equipment, including cameras, monitors, switchers, and audio systems.
-Maintenance: Regularly maintain and troubleshoot video equipment to ensure optimal performance.
-Operation: Operate video equipment during live events, broadcasts, and recordings.
-Calibration: Calibrate video equipment to meet broadcast standards for color and sound quality.
-Technical Support: Provide technical support and resolve issues related to video and audio systems.
-Collaboration: Work closely with production teams, directors, and other technical staff to achieve desired video and audio quality.
Job Requirements:
-A bachelor’s degree in video production, electrical engineering, or a related field is often preferred
-Previous experience in video production or engineering roles is beneficial
-Proficiency in operating and troubleshooting video equipment.
-Attention to Detail: Ability to calibrate equipment accurately.
-Problem-Solving: Strong troubleshooting skills to resolve technical issues quickly.
-Communication: Good communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members.
-Physical Stamina: Ability to handle and transport video equipment, which may involve physical labor
