We are seeking a Maintenance Technician to join our apartment complex team that has certification in HVAC systems and experience with electrical, plumbing, and carpentry. These are the necessary skills to ensure the functionality and appearance of our residential property.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- HVAC Maintenance: Perform installation, routine maintenance, and repairs on heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems. Roof work is required; maximum 3 floors.
- Electrical: Handle electrical repairs, lighting, outlets, switches, circuit breakers, and installations of fixtures such as appliances, ceiling fans, lighting, and exhaust fans.
-Plumbing: Address plumbing issues including leaks, clogs, and installations of fixtures such as sinks, toilets, tub/surround, and water heaters.
- Carpentry: Conduct general carpentry work such as repairing and installing doors, windows, and cabinets.
- Preventive Maintenance: Execute preventive maintenance schedules to ensure the longevity and efficiency of all building systems. Assist with routine property inspections and maintenance tasks such as painting, drywall repair, and groundskeeping.
- Emergency Repairs: Respond promptly to emergency maintenance requests to resolve issues in a timely and effective manner.
- Inventory Management: Maintain an inventory of tools, supplies, and equipment, ensuring they are kept in good working condition.
- Customer Service: Interact with tenants professionally.
- Compliance: Ensure all work complies with safety regulations, building codes, and company policies.
REQUIREMENTS:
- HVAC Certification: Must possess a current HVAC certification.
- Physical Ability: Ability to lift heavy objects, climb ladders, and perform physically demanding tasks.
- Flexibility: Available to work on-call hours, including weekends and holidays, if necessary.
- Experience: Previous experience in residential property maintenance is highly desirable.
