Apprentice Electrician

People Source is seeking a skilled and experienced Licensed Commercial Electrician to join our team and contribute to the successful execution of various electrical projects within commercial settings. The ideal candidate will possess a strong technical background in electrical systems, a keen attention to detail, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team. As a Commercial Electrician, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safe and efficient installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems in commercial buildings.

Key Responsibilities:

Install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain electrical systems, equipment, and components in compliance with local, state, and national electrical codes.

Collaborate with project managers and other team members to plan and execute electrical installations in commercial settings, including offices, retail spaces, warehouses, and more.

Collaborate with other tradespeople and contractors to ensure proper coordination of electrical work with other construction and maintenance activities.

Ensure adherence to safety protocols and regulations, including the proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and safe work practices.

Troubleshoot electrical malfunctions, diagnose problems, and implement effective solutions in a timely manner.

Provide technical guidance and mentorship to apprentices and less experienced team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning.

Keep accurate records of work performed, materials used, and hours worked, reporting progress to supervisors and project managers.

Stay updated on industry trends, advancements in electrical technology, and changes in electrical codes and regulations.

Qualifications:

Must have 2+ Years Commercial Electrical Experience

High school diploma or equivalent; completion of an accredited electrical apprenticeship program or relevant vocational training is preferred.

Apprentice, Journeyman or Master Electrician license required. (Valid TDLR License)

Proven experience as a Commercial Electrician, with a demonstrated track record of successfully completing electrical projects in commercial settings.

In-depth knowledge of electrical systems, components, and troubleshooting techniques.

Familiarity with local, state, and national electrical codes and regulations.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to diagnose and rectify electrical issues effectively.

Excellent communication and teamwork skills to interact with team members, clients, and other tradespeople.

Physical stamina and manual dexterity to perform tasks that may involve lifting, climbing, and working in confined spaces.

Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work while meeting project deadlines.

Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
