Job Title: Apprentice Electrician

Job Description
The Apprentice Electrician will assist in the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems in commercial, institutional, and industrial facilities. This position is designed to provide hands-on experience and technical training under the guidance of licensed electricians and supervisors. The apprentice will learn to read blueprints, use trade tools safely, and follow all company and industry standards for quality and safety.
Responsibilities
Assist licensed electricians in installing, repairing, and maintaining electrical systems, devices, and equipment.
Learn to read and interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams, and electrical schematics.
Pull wire, install conduit, outlets, lighting, switches, panels, and low-voltage systems under supervision.
Support the setup and cleanup of job sites, ensuring a safe and organized work environment.
Follow all safety protocols and wear appropriate PPE at all times.
Maintain company tools and equipment in proper working order.
Participate in on-the-job and classroom training to gain proficiency in electrical codes, tools, and techniques.
Assist with material handling, loading/unloading, and inventory tracking.
Communicate effectively with supervisors, team members, and other trades on site.
Uphold CLIENTS values of safety, integrity, quality, and teamwork on every project.
Additional Responsibilities
Support multiple ongoing projects across commercial, government, healthcare, and aviation sectors.
Contribute to continuous improvement by learning from inspections, testing, and feedback.
Assist in implementing project schedules and documenting work progress.

Qualifications
High school diploma or GED required.
Enrollment or interest in an accredited electrical apprenticeship program preferred.
Basic understanding of electrical tools and materials.
Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
Physically able to perform construction duties (lifting up to 50 lbs, climbing ladders, standing for long periods).
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation required.
Willingness to travel between job sites as needed.
