Job Description:
We are a premier Frisco automotive dealership seeking a skilled Automotive Technician / Mechanic to join our service team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining vehicles with precision and efficiency.
Responsibilities:
Perform diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance on a variety of vehicles (new & used).
Conduct oil changes, brake services, tire rotations, and engine repairs.
Follow dealership and manufacturer guidelines for all service procedures.
Use computerized diagnostic tools to identify mechanical/electrical issues.
Maintain accurate records of work performed and parts used.
Ensure quality control and test drive vehicles post-repair.
Communicate with service advisors regarding vehicle status.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
Requirements:
2+ years of experience as an automotive mechanic (dealership experience a plus).
Proficiency with diagnostic tools (e.g., OBD-II scanners).
Strong knowledge of engine repair, brakes, suspension, and electrical systems.
ASE Certification (preferred but not required).
Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
Ability to work Monday-Saturday (schedule may include rotating Saturdays).
