Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role. As a Heavy Equipment Operator, your main responsibility will be to operate and maintain heavy machinery to support construction and industrial activities.
Your daily tasks will include skillfully operating various types of heavy equipment, performing routine maintenance and safety checks on the equipment, and strictly adhering to safety guidelines to ensure a secure working environment.
Qualifications:
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record
- Proven experience as a Heavy Equipment Operator or in a similar role (excavators, loaders, forestry mulchers, etc)
- Strong knowledge of equipment operation and maintenance
- Excellent hand-eye coordination and physical strength
- Capability to collaborate within a team environment and unwavering adherence to instructions
- Attention to detail and a safety-conscious mindset
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Relevant certifications or licenses (e.g., OSHA certification) are a plus
- Successful completion of background and drug tests is mandatory
