Volt is immediately hiring for Equipment Technicians in Wilmer, Texas.
As an Equipment Technician you will:
Conduct regular and scheduled inspection of the production equipment in the factory to ensure that the equipment is in good condition and eliminate potential equipment failures.
Electrical experience - able to troubleshoot and repair electrical issues, be able to trace shorts in electrical equipment
Make daily operation records and maintenance records of the equipment system in a timely manner.
Ability to detect, isolate, and identify irregularities and malfunctions in machinery and equipment.
Assist with aligning machines and equipment during installation, using hoists, jacks, squares, ruler, micrometers, and plumb bobs.
Follow work arrangement, timely repair the faulty equipment reported for repair, and ensure the maintenance quality.
Ideal candidates will have:
Technical diploma or higher (electrical or mechanical)
At least 1-2 years experience in a high-volume manufacturing environment (with photovoltaic industry preferred).
Exceptional troubleshooting skills with electrical, mechanical, and automation components preferred.
Good knowledge of pneumatic systems.
Ability to operate shop equipment, bench tools, hand tools, inspection and test equipment.
Ability to use data analysis tools such as MS Excel and other applications.
