Hourly Wage: $20-$40 an hour, depending on experience and certifications. ( FEL-A, is a big plus)
Experience: Fire Protection Services (1-3 years, preferred)

Job Description:
We are looking for a skilled Fire Safety Technician to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for inspecting, maintaining, and certifying kitchen fire suppression systems and fire extinguishers. Your primary focus will be on ensuring that our clients' equipment is compliant with safety regulations and operates effectively in the event of a fire. This position requires a detail-oriented individual with hands-on technical skills and a strong understanding of fire safety systems.
Key Responsibilities:
Inspect, test, maintain, and repair kitchen fire suppression systems (wet and dry chemical systems).
Perform routine inspections, certifications, and maintenance on portable fire extinguishers.
Ensure all equipment is compliant with local, state, and national fire codes (NFPA standards).
Perform installations, upgrades, and replacements of fire suppression systems as needed.
Identify any issues with fire safety equipment and provide necessary solutions, including repairs or replacements.
Educate customers on proper fire safety practices and system operations.
Maintain detailed records of all inspections, services, repairs, and certifications.
Respond to emergency service calls when required.
Work collaboratively with other technicians and the sales team to ensure client satisfaction.
Follow safety protocols and company policies at all times.
Qualifications:
1-3 years of experience in fire safety systems, specifically kitchen suppression systems and portable fire extinguishers.
Knowledge of NFPA codes and standards related to fire suppression and extinguishers.
Certification in kitchen suppression systems (FEL-K) (e.g., Ansul, Pyro-Chem, Kidde, or similar) and fire extinguisher inspections.
Ability to troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair fire suppression systems and fire extinguishers.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Excellent communication and customer service skills.
Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
High school diploma or equivalent; technical training or certification in fire safety systems is a plus.
Physical Requirements:
Ability to lift heavy equipment and tools (up to 100 lbs).
Comfortable working in confined spaces, on ladders, and in commercial kitchen environments.
Willingness to work in a variety of settings, including restaurants, hotels, and industrial kitchens.
