We are looking for a Diesel Mechanic to join our team! You will be responsible for repairing various heavy truck & trailer and heavy duty systems. Must have common mechanical skills, we specialize in dd13, dd15, cat, cummins and paccar. Must have own tools. Must have dependable transportation. Wages start at 17.00 an hour and go from there, based on experience. Must have clean driving record, pass a drug screen if needed. Pay will depend on knowledge and experience.
Responsibilities:
Repair automobiles, trucks, buses, and other motor vehicles
Semi truck, trailer, car hauler, peterbilt, kenworth, freightliner, wally mo trailer and cottrell trailers and others.
Brakes, air bags, cylinders, brake chambers.
Specialize in vehicle transmission systems
Perform routine vehicle maintenance
Use diagnostic tools to test vehicle components
Perform quality inspections prior to returning the vehicle to the customer
Qualifications:
Previous experience as a mechanic
Knowledge of shop equipment
Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
Deadline and detail-oriented
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
