Overview
Lakeshore RV Resort is seeking a dedicated and skilled General Maintenance Technician to join our team. This role is vital to the smooth operation of our facilities and the satisfaction of our clients. The ideal candidate will bring a strong background in facilities maintenance, with hands-on experience in electrical systems, mechanical repairs, as well as a proactive attitude toward keeping our spaces welcoming and well-kept.
Responsibilities
Perform routine maintenance and repairs across park grounds and facilities
Sweep and pressure wash empty RV sites to maintain cleanliness and curb appeal
Conduct rental inspections and perform basic repairs as needed
Maintain the dog park, including restocking dog waste supplies and emptying waste baskets
Conduct daily pool water testing to ensure safety and compliance with health standards
Troubleshoot and resolve minor electrical issues (e.g., replacing plugs and breakers)
Handle basic plumbing tasks such as fixing leaks and replacing faucets
Assist with landscaping, seasonal tasks, and general upkeep
Respond promptly to maintenance requests and emergencies
Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth daily operations
Experience
Proven experience in facilities maintenance or a related field.
Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to operate tools and equipment safely.
Familiarity with electrical systems, including the use of an ohmmeter for diagnostics.
Previous experience is preferred, demonstrating leadership capabilities.
Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written.
