Irrigation Service & Repair Tech
Moore Sprinkler is growing and looking for a positive, motivated, and energetic person to fill our Service & Repair Tech role. Qualifications:
Irrigation Repair Experience: You have a minimum of 3 years’ experience troubleshooting and repairing irrigation
systems.
TCEQ Tech License: You have a current, certified TCEQ Irrigation Technician (IT) or Landscape Irrigator (LI) License
Driver’s License: You have a current driver’s license and a clear driving record.
Language: You speak English. Spanish language skills are a bonus.
Location: You live in the DFW area and drive to the office during workdays.
Schedule: Ability to work 6 days per week during Spring and Summer
Functions:
Service, troubleshoot and repair underground automatic irrigation systems in the greater Dallas area.
Communicate clearly with customers and co-workers, respond to questions, present information well and solve
problems.
Operate tablet-based service software: Take pictures, create estimates, update work, update status, collect onsite
payments, etc.
Perform all work with high-quality and professionalism.
Replace backflow devices; detect and repair leaks; replace valves; replace heads & nozzles.
Operate valve locators, troubleshoot irrigation system electrical problems, program controllers, operate a station
master, operate a voltmeter.
Clean jobsite at conclusion of work and ensure customer satisfaction.
Safely operate vehicle to and from jobsites, keep it clean, organized, and well stocked with tools, parts, and
supplies.
Perform physically demanding work outdoors in all types of weather conditions.
Train helpers or new personnel on irrigation, drainage and landscape lighting service, repair, and installation.
Install irrigation systems, drainage systems and landscape lighting as needed by the business.
Assist with other projects and assignments as needed by management.
