If you would like to join our professional team, then apply today.The Maintenance Technician performs a variety of tasks, including painting, carpentry, plumbing, electrical, HVAC, test and inspections of hospital equipment, preventive maintenance and various janitorial duties.Please apply if you have the following qualifications for a Maintenance Technician:Education:High school graduate or equivalent preferred.Experience:Must have experience in operating a variety of hand/power tools and equipment; ensuring proper safety precautions. Maintenance experience in a hospital setting strongly preferred.Licensure:N/AAdditional Requirements:Successful completion of training in BLS and Handle with Care within 30 days of employment. Must be available to attend a full week of hospital orientation upon hire.Our Maintenance Technician responsibilities include some of the following:Perform all tasks such as painting, carpentry, plumbing, electrical, preventive maintenance, HVAC and tests and inspections of the facility.Clean and change air filters as required through the preventive maintenance program.Clean kitchen grease traps and stove hood filters.Dispose of infectious/contaminated waste from the facility.Maintain facility grounds in a neat and attractive appearance.Maintain all light fixtures in good working condition and change light bulbs as needed.Perform preventive maintenance electrical test as well as the removal, installation and repair of all mechanical/electrical equipment with direct supervision of a supervisor.Perform various janitorial duties if needed.Responsible for keeping tools and materials in good condition and in their proper location and taking necessary safety precautions when handling hand/power tools and equipment.Take appropriate precautions ensuring proper tag out and lock out procedures when working on equipment.Comply with established measures for infection control, OSHA regulations, and Safety/Risk Management Plans, policies and procedures.Assist in assuring a safe and risk preventive environment.Use time constructively and in an organized manner.Adhere to facility, department, corporate, personnel and standard policies and procedures.Adhere to facility standards concerning conduct, dress, attendance and punctuality.Support facility-wide quality/performance improvement goals and objectives.Salary: $20- $22 per hourOur benefits include the following:Service excellence and fulfilling work environment401(k) plan and company matchHealth InsuranceDental InsuranceVision InsuranceLife InsurancePaid Time OffSupplemental Insurance Plans AvailableTo learn more about the company, please visit our website at: https://www.perimeterhealthcare.comPerimeter Healthcare is one of the leading behavioral health care providers in the country for children, adolescents, adults, and senior adults.
