SUMMARY:
Resource Employment Solutions is seeking Welders for a client in Mansfield, TX. This is an entry level welding job, candidates that just finished technical or welding school are encouraged to apply. This is a temp-to-hire opportunity, candidates are eligible for a raise, based on performance, after 90 days as a FT employee.
No background, no drug screen.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
As a welder you will be responsible for the following:
- Join metal by using a variety of processes, such as manual arc, tungsten inert gas, and metallic inert gas.
- Installation: Fit, set and install fabricated structures.
- Repair: Repair Metal Surfaces’
- Maintenance: Maintain welds on time.
- Directions: The ability to read and interrupt blueprints is a HUGE plus.
- Safety: Ensure safety and resolve immediate safety concerns.
- Documentation: Ensure correct documentation and processes and followed for standardized work process.
- Metal forming, bending and finishing.
- Design, layout and estimation.
- Must maintain a clean work environment and manage the daily cleaning and upkeep of all equipment and tools.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Interested candidates must have a minimum of 1 year of MIG or TIG experience or equivalent training/certification from from a technical trade or welding school.
- Must provide welding hood and steel toe boots.
- MUST be SAFETY CONSCIOUS.
- SHIFT/HOURS AND PAY:
- This is a 1st Shift, 7:00 a.m. – 3:30 p.m., MON-FRI position. 2 x 15-minute breaks and a 30-minute lunch.
- Starting pay is $16 – 18/HR Based on your welding test results.
