Position Overview
-The Residential Plumber will handle service, repair, and replacement calls for homeowners — everything from diagnosing issues to educating customers and executing clean, high-quality repairs and installs. You will represent Double M in the field, ensuring each homeowner’s experience matches our reputation: fast, honest, and professional.
What You’ll Do
-Perform residential plumbing service, repair, and installation calls (water heaters, fixtures, drains, etc.)
-Communicate clearly with customers — educate, not upsell through pressure
-Offer honest, professional recommendations that solve problems and build trust
-Take ownership of your work area — leave every home cleaner than you found it
-Maintain accurate job records so the office staff can invoice properly
-Keep your service truck stocked, clean, and professional — it’s a rolling billboard
-Partner with Manager and Office Staff to ensure efficient scheduling and communication
-Mentor helpers as needed
-Follow all safety procedures and uphold Double M’s standards of professionalism
What We’re Looking For
-Journeyman's license (preferred)
-5+ years of residential plumbing experience
-Strong technical and troubleshooting skills
-Excellent customer communication and professionalism
-Valid driver’s license with clean driving record
-Ability to work independently and manage your own schedule
-High standards for cleanliness, craftsmanship, and accountability
Physical Requirements
-Lift up to 50 lbs regularly
-Use ladders and power tools safely
-Work indoors/outdoors and in attics or crawlspaces
-Occasional long days during peak seasons
Pay Range
-$30-32 per hour
-Base pay + bonuses (based on individual performance)
