Seeking well rounded, responsible person to lead and coordinate schedules for multiple traffic control crews in Dallas and surrounding areas.
Core responsibilities:
-Develop and implement plans: Create and execute traffic management plans for construction sites, roadwork, and events.
-Set up and maintain control devices: Coordinate the placement, maintenance, and removal of traffic control devices like cones, signs, and barricades.
-Supervise personnel: Oversee and direct traffic control personnel, ensuring they follow safety procedures.
-Ensure compliance: Enforce safety regulations, traffic laws, and other applicable guidelines.
-Coordinate and communicate: Liaise with project managers, law enforcement, emergency services, and other departments to ensure a smooth and safe traffic flow.
-Conduct site assessments: Perform safety audits and risk assessments to identify and mitigate potential hazards.
-Train staff: Provide training to traffic control personnel on procedures and safety standards.
-Respond to incidents: Address and resolve traffic incidents, emergencies, or public complaints that occur on site.
-Complete documentation: Prepare and maintain necessary reports, logs, and records for each job.
-Resource allocation: Managing daily schedule and job assignments of multiple crews
-Track and report crews hours
-Provide status updates for reporting and invoicing
-Create daily/weekly report and invoice creation
Candidate Experience Includes :
- Must have a background/experience in traffic control
- Ensure crews are ready to work upon jobsite arrival
- Route crews efficiently, and be a good leader as well as disciplinary figure.
- Complete daily crew paperwork including hours worked and scope for billing to customer
- 2 years experience preferred
- Bilingual is a plus!
