Sweeper Truck Operator needed for Rowlett commercial property maintenance company. Mostly daytime work, some nighttime sweeps required as well. Street sweeping, construction sweeping and parking lot sweeping using several different types of trucks. Job also includes truck maintenance and shop maintenance when repairs and maintenance is needed on our fleet of trucks.
STREET SWEEPING
Operate a street sweeper truck on monthly municipal accounts sweeping curblines on city streets using a large street sweeper truck. Operate truck on construction clean up sweeps that get called in on an as-needed basis. Large truck requires daily maintenance, and cleaning of cab and hopper with a power washer.
PARKING LOT SWEEPING
We clean commercial parking lots all over Dallas and Fort Worth using a backpack blower and a sweeper truck. Each night, you will be given a route containing a list of properties to clean for the night. Most of the work involves using a backpack blower to move debris from inaccessible areas into the parking lot to be picked up by truck, portering, and related tasks as needed. You will be expected to maintain your truck and blower. You will need to be able to change out some nuts and bolts on occasion and adjust and maintain the sweeping components of the truck, change out the air filter on the blower on a regular basis and other maintenance items.
SHOP MAINTENANCE
Fuel up fleet of trucks every morning, take trucks to have flats fixed, tires rotated, oil changed, etc. Take care of any other maintenance items they require. Keep shop organized. Handle any other pickups or deliveries of supplies that may be required for other commercial maintenance project we have going on.

Job requirements include:
- Valid driver's license
- Some Mechanical Skills
- Ability and willingness to work at night
- Ability to lift 30 lbs
- Must have been at your prior job at least a year
- Must provide references from prior bosses
