Vi-Tel Inc is seeking experienced Electricians for nationwide traveling project installing Parking Lot Access Points
Now Hiring Traveling Electricians – Immediate Openings
Candidates will be required to travel to Lowell, AR to begin this project. Travel to Arkansas is the candidate’s responsibility. Once you arrive, you will be issued a company van and gas card, and all travel while on assignment is paid. After the project is complete and the company van is returned, travel home is your responsibility.
Electricians will work in teams of two, paired with a low-voltage/data technician.
Schedule:
6 nights per week
Sunday through Friday
12-hour shifts (overnight work)
Ideal Electrician Candidates Should Have:
-Experience in commercial electrical work
-Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and electrical drawings
-Experience installing conduit (EMT/PVC), panels, breakers, circuits, and performing troubleshooting and repairs
-Familiarity with device installs, lighting, switchgear, and branch circuit work
-Strong attention to detail and ability to work with minimal supervision
-Comfort working at heights and using ladders/lifts
-Ability to collaborate with a partner data technician on fast-paced projects
Requirements:
-Ownership of basic hand tools and power tools, including but not limited to: screwdrivers, wire strippers, pliers, cordless drill, multimeter, PPE (hard hat, boots, safety glasses)
-Extensive travel is required
-Must pass a drug screen
-Must have a clean background and pass a background check
-Must have a valid driver's license with a clean driving record
-Must be dependable, punctual, and able to work long shifts
