Location: Staff Zone – 8255 Camp Bowie W. Blvd, Fort Worth, TX
Pay Range:$18–$38/hr (Based on experience)
Staff Zone is seeking a skilled and dedicated Welder to support a growing workload in the Fort Worth area. We are looking for both Apprentice Fitters (1–4 years of experience) and Journeyman Fitters (5–30 years of experience) who take pride in their craft and are ready to join a reliable, hardworking team.
Position Details
Shift: 2nd Shift
Schedule: 3:00 PM – 1:30 AM
Work Environment: Fast-paced, heavy industrial setting
Job Responsibilities
Perform high-quality welding tasks using GMAW and SMAW processes
Read, interpret, and work from blueprints and ISOMETRICS
Perform layout, fitting, and fabrication with accuracy
Apply piping trigonometry knowledge for precise measurements and fittings
Work independently and as part of a team to meet production timelines
Capable of performing physical, manual labor while standing for long hours
Maintain safe and clean work areas and follow all safety protocols
Requirements
Experience:
Apprentice Fitter: 1–4 years
Journeyman Fitter: 5–30 years
Technical Skills:
Ability to read blueprints and ISOMETRICS
Proficiency in GMAW and SMAW welding processes
Tools & Equipment:
Must have own welding and fitting tools (hood, squares, levels, tape measure, 2-hole pins, etc.)
Must have steel-toed boots
Additional Requirements:
Must have reliable transportation
Willingness to work Saturdays
Must be capable of working long hours on your feet and performing manual labor
