We are seeking a reliable and responsible Delivery Driver and Helper to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for delivering Home appliances Furniture and TVs to customers safely and efficiently. The successful applicant will operate a a box truck, and ensure that all deliveries are made on time and to the correct location. The role also involves interacting with customers, resolving any issues that may arise, and maintaining a high level of customer service. If you have a drivers license and are comfortable navigating warehouse environments, this job may be for you.
Responsibilities:
- Operate and drive a box truck to deliver goods and products to customers.
- Drive in a safe and responsible manner, adhering to all traffic laws and regulations.
- Load and unload pallets using a pallet jack, forklift, or other equipment.
- Ensure that all deliveries are made on time and to the correct location.
- Provide excellent customer service, responding to customer inquiries and resolving any issues that may arise.
- Maintain accurate records of delivery routes, mileage, and any issues that may have occurred during delivery.
- Comply with all safety and security procedures, including wearing personal protective equipment as required.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure that the vehicle is in good working order.
- Complete any necessary paperwork, including delivery manifests and proof of delivery.
Qualifications:
- Valid Drivers license W/ clean driving record.
- Clean Background Record.
- Experience operating a variety of vehicles, including box trucks.
- Ability to lift, handle and install appliances.
- Experience in a warehouse or delivery environment.
- Excellent customer service skills.
Must pass a drug test
