Local, well-established excavating company with small fleet of dump trucks seeking EXPERIENCED END DUMP DRIVER. We have 10-yard tandems and 20-yard trailers.
Position is Full Time, Monday through Friday. (Saturdays occasionally)
Start Time is 6:00 AM
Our shop is located near Loop 12 and Singleton Blvd in Dallas.
Experience:
minimum of 2 years experience as an end dump driver
valid commercial driver license (class A CDL)
current medical card (unless you are exempt)
clean driving record (preferred) - must have no DWI's
knowledge of commercial vehicle laws, local traffic laws, and OSHA rules applicable to this position
Responsibilities:
Safely operate a tandem and/or trailer end dump to transport dirt, rock and construction debris to various locations. Must be comfortable driving and dumping on off-road surfaces.
Follow instructions to complete hauling assignments safely and efficiently
Adhere to all traffic laws and commercial vehicle regulations while driving
Perform pre-trip inspections of the truck/trailer. Report any issues or maintenance needs
Maintain accurate records of deliveries and material quantities
You must have reliable transportation to commute to and from our shop each day. You will drive our company owned dump trucks.
Prefer to hire someone familiar with the roads and highways in DFW, and familiar with the locations of local sand and gravel pits.

The following experience and skills would be beneficial, but not required:
heavy equipment hauling - experience transporting earthmoving equipment using a lowboy trailer
water truck driver - experience operating a water truck on a construction site; applying water for compaction and/or dust control
heavy equipment operator- experience operating a 963/973 track loader, motor grader, excavator, etc.
