We are seeking a skilled Mobile Mechanic to join an operation in Hutchins, TX, who will be responsible for on-site and mobile mechanical services for trucks and trailers.
Job Responsibilities:
Conduct regular maintenance and repairs of trucks, and trailers.
Perform diagnostics and repair of all aspects of trucks and trailers.
Troubleshoot and repair any issues identified during diagnostics.
Document all work performed and maintain accurate records.
Work independently to prioritize and complete repair and maintenance tasks.
Work with the service team to order necessary parts and equipment.
Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
Drive to various locations to perform on-site repairs and maintenance.
Qualifications:
Certificate of qualification as a mechanic or equivalent experience.
Minimum of 3 years of experience in heavy-duty truck maintenance and repair.
Proficient in using diagnostic software and tools.
Must possess a valid driver's license and have a clean driving record.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well independently and as part of a team.
Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple priorities.
Physical Requirements:
Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
Ability to work in various weather conditions.
Ability to work in a noisy environment.
Ability to stand for extended periods.
