Hello Hotshot is a startup brokerage with a focus soley on CDL / non-CDL hotshots, box trucks and auto-haulers. We're looking for owner/operators to join our team.
What started as a casual conversation amongst hotshot truck drivers evolved into the Hello Hotshot platform. When we discovered that we shared many of the same concerns about brokers, fluctuating fuel and insurance costs, compliance, etc., we decided to pool our resources and build something better.

Hello Hotshot was designed to alleviate the burden of the ancillary tasks of running a successful hotshot / delivery business, allowing carriers to focus on three key tasks :
1. Properly securing cargo
2. Thoroughly checking and maintaining their equipment, and
3. Operating their machines as safely as possible
As independent operators, we are on our own in every aspect of the job and the time behind the wheel is often the easiest part. We applied lessons learned the hard way to help fellow carriers navigate their careers as carriers, both figuratively and literally.
Duties
- Transport freight to designated locations.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in safe working condition.
- Adhere to all local, state, and federal transportation regulations while on the road.
Qualifications
- Valid Driver's License (CDL preferred, but not required)
- Truck Registration
- Trailer Registration (if applicable)
- Truck (+ Trailer) DOT inspection
- Certificate of Insurance
- DOT medical card
- Active MC / DOT information (required)
- Proven experience in truck driving
- Knowledge of freight handling procedures and delivery logistics.
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to .
- Strong communication skills for effective interaction with clients and team members.
