We are expanding at Prestige Peak Venture and are looking for experienced, ambitious, and safety-conscious Hot Shot CDL Truck Drivers to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods safely, efficiently while adhering to all traffic laws and company policies, and operating a dually pickup truck with a 35 - 40 ft. gooseneck flatbed trailer. This role requires a strong commitment to safety and the ability to manage routes effectively. Experience with various types of trailers, including refrigerated, flatbed, and tanker, is highly desirable. I will verify all flatbed experience and conduct a random drug tests.
- Operate a dually pickup truck to transport freight over long distances, ensuring timely delivery.
Must have a minimum of 1-2 years of VERIFIABLE HOTSHOT or FLATBED experience
Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and compliance.
Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, rest periods, and cargo information.
- Plan routes based on delivery schedules and traffic conditions.
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers regarding any delays or issues encountered during transport.
- Adhere to all federal, state, and local regulations regarding commercial driving.
- Must know how to TARP & CHAIN
- Proven experience in truck driving with a valid commercial driver's license (CDL).
- Familiarity with various types of trailers including refrigerated trailers, flatbeds, and tankers.
- Experience in route driving with a strong understanding of navigation systems.
- Previous experience loading and unloading freight is an asset.
Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices in commercial driving.
