Logistics Sales Coordinator/Business Development Representative
This position will identify sales leads and pitch services to new clients. You will be the key to building relationships, identify business opportunities, negotiate, and close business deals while maintaining knowledge of current market conditions. You must have logistics or sales background. This position sole purpose is to generate sales for the company. Ideal candidate will be looking to make a long-term career in logistics.
This role moves into Account Manager or Sales Manager positions.
Essential Functions
Build and develop a sales pipeline by generating and developing new business.
Generate leads by researching and cold calling potential customers.
Provide quotes and participate in RFQ's and RFP's
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of all of our services.
Close new business and meet sales targets.
Bachelor's degree or (equivalent experience)
6 months- 1 year of experience in a sales and cold-calling environment
Excellent verbal or written communication skills.
Must be able to maintain a professional work attitude and ethic at all times.
Requirements:
In office hours 8am-5pm. Mon- Fri. Must be in attendance.
Business attire is required.
The ability to provide customers quotes, services in a time manner is essential.
The ability to cold call customers and find new business opportunities.
Compensation:
Includes a starting base salary of $45k- PLUS uncapped commission and bonuses. ($60K-$95K). PTO. Paid Vacation. Health Benefits. Monthly lunches. Coffee+Snacks.
