Job Description:
We are looking for a warehouse manager to lead our warehouse operations activities. Warehouse manager responsibilities include managing sort team, interacting with customers regarding our operations plan, updating shipment information into our TMS and WMS systems. Warehouse manager is also expected to research and implement improvements to warehouse processes for added efficiency, safety, and capabilities.
Responsibilities:
Lead sortation teams.
Receive and process incoming freight (unload, organize in warehouse)
Keep a clean and safe working environment and optimize space utilization
Report any discrepancies or damaged freight
Communicate and cooperate with company leadership and coworkers
Follow quality service standards and comply with procedures, rules and regulations
Skills:
Working experience as a warehouse worker
Proficiency in transportation specific computer software such as Descartes
Familiarity with warehousing practices and methods
Good organizational and time management skills
Ability to lift heavy objects
Forklift driving experience
Job Type: full-time
Starting Pay: $23-26.5/hr, about 32-40hrs per week. Hours and wages will grow depending on experience and ability.
