Responsibilities:
- Safely and efficiently operate tractor-trailers, flatbeds, tankers, and other commercial vehicles
- Transport freight to assigned destinations in a timely manner
- Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations
- Perform routine vehicle inspections and maintenance
- Ensure proper loading and unloading of cargo
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries and pickups
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers and other team members
- Follow safety protocols and procedures at all times
Qualifications:
- Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) with appropriate endorsements
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in commercial driving
- Proficient in operating vehicles with manual transmissions
- Strong knowledge of automotive repair and maintenance
- Ability to operate forklifts or willingness to learn
- Excellent driving record with no major violations or accidents
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening
- Strong attention to detail and time management skills
