Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Truck Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting hazardous materials safely and efficiently across designated routes. This role requires a strong commitment to safety, excellent driving skills, and the ability to manage time effectively. Our Truck Drivers play a crucial role in ensuring that our operations run smoothly and that our customers receive their deliveries on time.
Duties
Operate flatbed 48ft trailer (ALL LOADS ARE REQUIRED TO BE TARPED)
Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and compliance with regulations.
Plan routes effectively for timely deliveries while adhering to traffic laws and regulations.
Load and unload cargo as necessary, ensuring proper handling of materials.
Maintain accurate records of deliveries, mileage, fuel consumption, and any incidents during transport.
Communicate with dispatchers regarding route changes, delays, or issues encountered during transport.
Ensure compliance with all federal and state transportation regulations.
Qualifications
Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) 2YEARS MINIMUM, 1 YEAR VERIFIABLE FLAT BED EXPERIENCE, with Hazmat endorsements for the type of vehicle operated.
Proven experience in truck driving with a strong understanding of route driving principles.
Ability to operate manual transmission vehicles as well as tractor-trailers.
1 year experience with flatbeds is required
Strong knowledge of safety regulations and best practices in commercial driving.
Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team.
Must pass all required background checks and drug screenings prior to employment.
