Safety Assistant Needed
GENERAL JOB DUTIES, including but not limited to:
Oversee weekly Driver Orientation classes
Assemble Driver Qualification Files in compliance with FMCSA and company requirements
Help review incoming driver applications for accuracy and compliance
Verify employment and run reports as needed for DQFs
Setup DOT drug screens and physicals as needed
Submit daily and weekly reports
Provide support to Safety Director and Safety Department
SKILLS/QUALIFICATIONS:
Understands Discretion
Must be able to multi-task while maintaining attention to detail and accuracy
Must have a valid Driver's License, CDL preferred
Must be able to commute each day to Dallas, TX 75247
Preferred but Not Required:
Experience in Transportation beneficial
Knowledge of HOS and FMCSA regulations
Experience with HireRight, PSP, Tenstreet, and Omnitracs sites
Knowledgeable of Microsoft Office suite
SCHEDULE:
Full time, 8 hour shift, Monday - Friday
On-Call one weekend per month
