Job Title: Maintenance Electrician (Nights)Job DescriptionWe are seeking an experienced electrical maintenance technician to join our team at a leading food manufacturing facility. In this role, you will diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair electrical problems on conveyor systems and production equipment. You will interface with PLCs, VFDs, low & high voltage systems, and electrical panels.Responsibilities

Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical issues on conveyor systems and production equipment.

Interface with PLCs, VFDs, low & high voltage systems, and electrical panels.

Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and drawings.

Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on electrical systems.

Install and service wiring, hydraulics, pneumatics, and mechanical systems.

Complete work orders and enter required paperwork into a computer system.

Essential Skills

7+ years of electrical maintenance experience.

3+ years of troubleshooting VFDs.

Experience diagnosing and repairing PLCs.

Understanding of Arc Flash standards.

Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and drawings.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Experience with low and high voltage systems including 110V, 220V, 440V, and 480V.

Ability to install electrical panels based on electrical schematics.

Proficiency in sizing line voltage and transformer voltage.

Experience building electrical automation enclosures.

The environment can vary from very hot to very cold in different areas. The facility is older, requiring strong problem-solving abilities to maintain and repair equipment. The maintenance team includes electrical maintenance, mechanical maintenance, and refrigeration techs. The dress code includes steel toe shoes, jeans, work shirt, and hair nets. This is a night shift position (6:00pm-6:00am) with two blocks of shifts: Sun/Mon/Tues/Wed or Wed/Thurs/Fri/Sat. Both shifts work 6 hours on Wednesday, with the other three days being 12-hour shifts.
