Clean Harbors is seeking a Lab Technician for our San Leon, TX location. The position is responsible for the analysis and storage of samples. You will determine their chemical and physical properties using a variety of techniques and instrumentation.Why work for Clean Harbors?

Performs analysis of facility samples using GCMS, XRF, ICP, and other analytical laboratory instruments
Maintain and troubleshoot equipment as needed
Properly manage waste generated because of analytical procedures
Maintain a safe working environment that complies with all applicable OSHA regulations
Perform other duties and tasks as assigned by management
What does it take to work for Clean Harbors?
1-3 years of professional experience in a lab preferred
Bachelor of Science in Chemistry, Biology, Environmental Science, or related field preferred
Wet chemistry and sample prep a plus!
Familiarity with instrumentation software
Ability to document, record, and analyze data accurately
MS Office Suite – Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
Computer savvy
Must have excellent communication and organization skills
Able to work independently
Must be able to lift to 50lbs and climb stairs
