We are a growing tax firm seeking motivated and driven tax preparers for the upcoming tax season. This is a contract position where you will be responsible for finding and managing your own clients. If you are a self-starter who thrives in an independent work environment, and you're ready to grow your income, we want to hear from you!
This is not an hourly position. You will be compensated per tax return completed, so the potential for earnings is unlimited based on your own efforts. This is a great opportunity for individuals looking to take control of their own success, with the flexibility of working from home or any location of your choice.
Key Responsibilities:
Independently source and manage your own clients
Prepare tax returns accurately and efficiently using firm-approved software
Communicate with clients regarding tax documents, deadlines, and any necessary follow-ups
Stay updated with tax laws and regulations for the 2024 tax year
Complete mandatory training days (training provided by the firm)
Qualifications & Requirements:
Must have a 2024 PTIN (Preparer Tax Identification Number) from the IRS [apply at IRS.gov]
Laptop or desktop computer with reliable internet access
Must be self-motivated, driven, and capable of working independently
Excellent communication and customer service skills
Ability to meet deadlines and maintain quality of work
Previous tax preparation experience is preferred but not required (training is provided)
Ability to commit to training sessions prior to tax season
This is a contract position – you must be able to find your own clients. This is NOT a 9-5 or paycheck-to-paycheck environment.
