We are a unique restaurant/winery concept just outside of Longview, TX that is dedicated to wowing our customers with a good time and great food. WE ARE ONLY OPEN FRIDAY-SUNDAY. We are committed to delivering an awesome, but casual dining experience and we take pride in what we serve our customers.
We are on the hunt for a skilled and experienced cook to join our kitchen team on the weekends. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food preparation and presentation, as well as a strong knowledge of cooking techniques and ingredients. The cook will be responsible for preparing and cooking dishes according to our recipes and standards, as well as assisting with menu planning and inventory management. The world is largely your oyster and you would have full-rein over the menu and what you planned to serve (preferably a variation of "American" cuisine)
Responsibilities:
-Prepare and cook dishes according to recipes and standards
-Ensure food quality and presentation meet company standards
-Assist with menu planning and development
-Maintain a clean and organized kitchen
-Monitor and manage inventory levels
-Adhere to food safety and sanitation guidelines
-Collaborate with kitchen team members to ensure timely and efficient service
Requirements:
-Proven experience as a cook
-Strong knowledge of cooking techniques and ingredients
-Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
-Excellent organizational and multitasking skills
-Strong communication and teamwork abilities
-Food handler's certification preferred
