Bill Day Tire Center is currently seeking a full-time Brake & Alignment Service Technician at our Tyler and Jacksonville, TX locations. We offer a positive work environment in a high volume shop.

Skills and Requirements
Minimum 2 years of Alignment and Brake experience in auto repair. Must be ready to go on Day 1.
Supply own tools
Ability to diagnose and repair cars, light trucks and SUVs
Must be experienced in alignments, brakes, front end suspension, diagnostics, rotors, shocks
Good Driving Record and a valid driver's license are required
Must have strong written and verbal communication skills
Proficiency in the use of common mechanic shop tools
Ability to bend, move, lift up to 60 lbs. and physically perform duties in the scope of this position
Automotive Technician Responsibilities
Perform in-depth examination of vehicles to determine if any safety or service work is needed
Operate a variety of hand, power, and shop tools
Use computer diagnostic equipment
Clearly document and record work that is performed
Effectively communicate with the service manager and/or customers
Road test vehicles when required
Assist other mechanics as needed
Maintain an organized and neat work area
Adhere to all company policies, procedures, safety and environmental rules
Ability to perform any additional related duties as required and assigned by service manager.
