Summit Fleet Service is a growing company servicing all makes and brands for trucks and trailers.
Technicians must be able to:
Perform routine inspections, maintenance and repairs on various types of equipment, including but not limited to engine work, electrical systems, hydraulic systems, pneumatic systems and undercarriage.
- Carrying out necessary repairs and conducting more complex repairs to ensure proper functioning;
- Troubleshooting and analyzing issues reported by drivers or operators, and providing effect solutions to address the problems;
- Respond promptly to customer needs in a positive, supportive and timely manner.
- Communicate job progress to supervisor and customer as needed;
- Complete service reports, order parts and maintain clear customer records
.
Requirements:
Two-year technical degree and/or equivalent job experience.
Knowledge of hydraulics, transmissions, undercarriage, track systems and components, pneumatic, electrical and engine work is required.
Excellent diagnostic and trouble-shooting skills.
Positive attitude and desire to provide outstanding customer service.
Computer, written and verbal communication skills.
What we offer:
Competitive Pay based on Prior Experience and Demonstrable Knowledge. $35.00 - $40.00 per hour depending on role and experience.
