We are seeking a Lawn & Shrub and Pest Control Technician for our Environmental Services department. In this position, you will be responsible to apply proper solutions to prevent/remove unwanted insect and/or small animals by the most professional methods. Also, you will diagnose and advise on any lawn and/or plant problems; properly mix and apply appropriate chemicals and utilize other effective methods. Candidate must already have a state license and professional pest control experience.
Qualifications and Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Must be able to pass background check and drug test.
Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
High School diploma or GED
Commitment to Excellence with a Winning Attitude
Customer service oriented.
Must be willing to take directions
Initiative-taking, work ethic and a desire to succeed
Internship/training for the right unlicensed candidate
Both Licenses preferred.
One license in either could be trained for the right individual.
Job Summary
Inspect the property for evidence of pests and determine the best method to apply
Assess damage and level of infestation
Set traps for larger pests
Apply chemicals for pest control and to lawn and shrubs per regulations around the property
Diagnosis and any problems with lawn and/or shrubs
Measure lawns and/or shrubs for proposals
Aerating lawns
Other general duties include plant replacement, mulching, trimming shrubs and pulling weeds
Log and manage your jobs using our management software
This position has excellent pay, benefits and bonus incentives. Compensation based on experience.
