The Field Technician supports sales efforts by ensuring efficient material delivery, maintaining customer relationships, and overseeing job site operations for quality and safety.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
Understands ready-mix and aggregate materials, including sizes, dimensions, and quantities.
Observes job sites during material dispersal and reports issues to management.
Works closely with Sales Manager, Sales Representatives and dispatch personal
Represents MTI positively
Collaborates with management, dispatch, and plant personnel.
Supervises truck drivers for safety and quality control.
Completes other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Education: High School Diploma or GED required; industry knowledge preferred.
Math Skills: Ability to apply moderately complex equations.
Communication: Strong customer service and interpersonal skills; ability to handle inquiries and complaints.
Language: English required; Spanish preferred.
Physical Demands & Work Environment:
Must meet physical requirements for fieldwork.
Work involves outdoor job sites with safety as a priority.
