At Hollywood Smiles USA, our goals are
to provide quality dental care to our patients. Most of our
patients have been with our office for 20-30 years and
longer. We treat
our patients as we would like to be treated in other medical
offices.
We strive to stay on schedule with "no waiting"
as soon as the patient arrives. This requires a constant
communication, knowledge of dental proceedures, and
knowledge of patient dental profile to allow extra time as
needed. We do not over-schedule patients to boost
production. Our goal is to avoid getting behind schedule to
allow us to see patient emergencies the same day we receive
their call.
Difficult patients are sometines unavoidable, but
we try to work with these people on the first visit to see
if our office is right for them.
This is a business, and we conduct our operations as a
business. Customer satisfacion provides loyalty and patient
referrals. Our office strives on building a loyal and
trusting customer base.
We do not sell patients dental treatments or products
they do not want, need, or cannot afford. We offer options
to radical, non-reversible, expensive, dental proceedures
that patient do not fully understand. Our office works with
a core group of specialists in Las Cruces, and El Paso to
provide the best dental care that they can afford. We
encourage patients to get second opinons, if they are unsure
of our treatment recommendations. We divide our treatment
plans into stages to take care of problems in order of
priority. Many times treatment plans extend over a periods
of years, to allow patients to afford the dental care they
will eventually need. Our goal is to provide the patient
with an understanding of what is available to achieve the
state of dental health they want or require. We help them
understand the costs involved, so that they are getting the
most for the money they have spent. Patients must understand
that we also require them to do their part with home
care.
Recall appointments are an important part of maintaining
dental health. The Dental Assistant/Receptionist is responsible for making
sure patients are reminded of their appointments, and
actually show up for their appointments on time. Patients that consistantly arrive late or do not
show up at all for dental procedures, must be documented as these situations
occur in the patient's chart.
